Liska: Where Greatness Finds Its Home

This was the home and study place of Kerestir Rebbe Steiner Sajele.

In Liska, Rebbe Steiner Sajele of Kerestir studied in the house of Reb Hershele Friedmann, gaining deep Torah knowledge and wisdom. This knowledge led him to his great journey in the service of the community.

The spiritual hub of Hasidism.

In Reb Hershele Friedman's time, Liska (Olaszliszka) rose as a spiritual center for Hasidism, where thousands gathered to meet him.

The rich tradition of Moshe Teitelbaum.

Hershele's initial knowledge was acquired by Yismach Moshe, who was the Rebbe of Ujhely (Sátoraljaújhely).  Teitelbaum appointed Hershele as his successor, whose wisdom continues to spread across the world daily.
